"I would like to take the time to offer my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for your financial support and donation towards counselling services with Glenn Rau at Midnapore Counselling.

I am a 47-year-old female, not married but in a relationship, and a certified general accountant by profession. I have one child, a daughter, who is getting married this year, and an elderly parent for whom I am the primary caregiver.

This year in particular has been very tough for my partner and me. We both work in the oil and gas industry. My partner has been laid off recently and my salary has been reduced by 25%. In addition, my work week has also been shortened to three days per week.

My partner and I first contacted Glenn because I felt that we were having serious problems in our relationship with regards to our communication. As our counselling progressed, it became apparent that my partner also had anger management issues.

Currently my partner and I are still struggling to address these destructive behaviors and Glenn is a lifeline for me. When things seem incredibly difficult and bleak, I greatly appreciate and look forward to our monthly (on average) appointment with Glenn. Without counselling, I am certain that my partner’s and my relationship would have ended badly.

It means a lot to me to be able to continue to meet with Glenn and it gives me hope that, with some guidance, hard work and dedication, my partner and I will be able to continue and improve our relationship and also to grow as healthy, happy individuals who have the resources, awareness and knowledge required to successfully face life’s challenges.
